Biaxial geogrid is an excellent solution for strengthening weak sections in your concrete and masonry structures. It’s also a great option for building walkways, patios and roof decks.
Biaxial geogrid is made of four strands of polypropylene rope with a polyethylene coating on both sides. The polyethylene coating acts as an adhesive allowing it to bond with concrete or mortar without needing any chemical treatment or special tools.
With its high tensile strength, biaxial geogrid can be used in some situations where traditional rein
forcement cannot be used such as around sharp corners or along narrow walls where the use of steel rods may create unsafe conditions for workers or pedestrians.
The polypropylene rope makes biaxial geogrid resistant to abrasion and can withstand high temperatures up to 350°F (177°C).
